All proceeds from entry to the event go towards Conwy Valley Rotary’s charitable work. \n \nThe sale will be at its usual venue of Ty Gwyn Fields\, Betws Road (A470) LL26 0PP (just along the road from Meadowvale Garage).  The map below shows the location. Access to the fields will marked by clear signage and manned by Rotarians giving a clear and safe route onto the fields.  Please follow any directions given by the marshalls and be aware that there will be pedestrians on the field so please keep your speed to 10mph.  Dogs should be kept on a lead due to the dangers of moving traffic. \n \nAs usual the event will be open to ‘booters’ from just after 7.00am (please do not arrive earlier as there is no “waiting space” and you will be blocking the A470) and for the public from 8.00am\, with the event closing at about 1.30pm. \nAs a booter there is no need to book a pitch\, just turn up and sell your items 🙂 \nOn field parking will  be available at £2 per vehicle for “buyers”\, charges for carboot stalls will be £10.  Pedestrians will not be charged for entry although any donations into the collection buckets at the entrance will be much appreciated. \nAs was the case at our last boot sale Conwy Valley Rotary are pleased to announce that catering at the event will be provided by Llanrwst’s very own ‘Burger Bay\,’ with burgers\, hot dogs and hot and cold drinks. \nWe would like to thank the owners of Ty Gwyn Fields for their permission to use the field.

SUMMARY:Conwy Valley Fireworks (Llanrwst) - 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Llanrwst Fireworks Spectacular is back after a break of a few years. \nJoin us on the evening of Monday 4th November 2024 at the Llanrwst Football Club\, next to Gwydir Park.  Yet again this year it is a free display due to the sponsorship we get from local businesses and organisations. \n\nIn particular\, we would like to thank :\n\n\n– Llanrwst Town Council for their generous donation towards the event;\n– Llanrwst Football Club for allowing us to use their area as a viewing area;\n– Phil Hughes of Cwm Llanerch Farm for letting us use his field as a fireing area.\n\nAlthough the start time is advertised as being at 6pm the fireworks will be set off at 7pm sharp so please don’t be like some of our visitors in previous years who turned up part way through the display and missed the start of it.  As locals will probably know\, parking at the park is limited so please consider walking to the park if you are local\, or be prepared to have to park away from the park and finish your journey on foot. \nFood & Drinks are available from the Football Club. \nPlease note that due to safety reasons sparklers and other fireworks are not permitted in the public area – we appreciate your understanding over this.

DESCRIPTION:Thank you to Snowdonia Fireworks for the display\, all the local businesses and organisation that have sponsored us in the past year or more and finally\, thank you to everyone that turned out on a dry but chilly night to watch the display (short video of the display is below – click the play icon to view it). \n\nhttps://www.conwy-valley-rotary.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Llanrwst-fireworks-2019.mp4\nThe annual Conwy Valley / Llanrwst Fireworks Spectacular was held on the evening of Saturday 2nd November 2019 at the Plas-yn-Dre (Glasdir) carpark in Llanrwst as usual and yet again this year it was a free display due to the sponsorship we get from many of the local businesses and organisations. \n \nAlthough the start time is advertised as being at 6pm the fireworks will be set off at 7pm so please don’t be like some of our visitors in recent years who turned up part way through the display and missed the start of it. \nWe are pleased to confirm that we will have our 5 star Burger / Hot dog / Hot & Cold Drinks van there (sadly the usual fairground rides are not able to be there this year but as of the 1st November we have been able to get two childrens rides (there may be more) for the event). \nPlease note that due to safety reasons sparklers and other fireworks are not permitted in the public area – we appreciate your understanding over this. \nWe would also ask visitors to the display to remember that the local streets are residential and to be considerate if they want to park on the road (the A470 is a major trunk road remember). \nMore details about the fireworks will be published on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LlanrwstFireworks/ as they become available. \nShould we have to cancel the event (as we did last year due to the high winds) we have a reserve date of Friday the 8th November) but we hope not to have to use this “spare” date. \nIf you have any questions about the display please fill in the quick contact form on the right of this page\, or you can contact us by email or phone us on 07500 444143 but please note that reception is patchy where we are (and non-existant in the mornings\, evenings and most week-ends) so be prepared to leave a message. \n\n

DESCRIPTION:Sadly\, this event was cancelled for 2018 due to lack of water in the river (anglers and canoeist have told us that the level is so low that the ducks would not go down the river and that\, in fact\, they have never seen such low levels). \nThe winners have been generated using an independent ‘Randomizer’ computer programme\, and winners notified accordingly. The winning ticket numbers are 1st 317\, 2nd 556\, 3rd 630. \nWe were due to hold our annual charity duck race in Betws y Coed on Sunday the 29th July. \nThe ducks would have set off on their journey from the bridge in Betws and will finish the race outside the Royal Oak Hotel\, although this may change depending on the amount of water in the river on the day. \nTickets were available either from members\, or at the days we sold them at the Llanrwst Coop (the 17th\, 21st and 27th of July). \nWe are sorry for any disappointment that the cancellation has caused.

SUMMARY:Llanrwst Gala 2018
